Taishin FHC’s subsidiary Taishin Life Insurance completed its renaming process and replaced its sign with Taishin's red sign today (August 23). The Company organized the renaming and sign unveiling ceremony at the Taishin Life Insurance Head Office Building on Section 5 of Nanjing East Road. The ceremony was jointly hosted by the President of Taishin FHC, Welch Lin, and the Chairman of Taishin Life Insurance, Kang Tsai. Taiwan Insurance Institute Chairman Hsien-Nung Kui and Life Insurance Association Chairman Tiao-Kuei Huang also attended the ceremony to express their congratulations. To support the government's level 2 pandemic prevention alert, the unveiling ceremony was simple but well-organized. Welch Lin announced in his speech that Taishin Life Insurance will begin to provide people with comprehensive insurance products and services.

Welch Lin stated that 2021 marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Taishin FHC as well as its acquisition of the three main core businesses including banking, insurance, and securities. Taishin FHC will continue to follow in the footsteps of other financial holding companies for its development. He also expressed his gratitude to the FSC for providing professional review, instructions, and assistance at every key turning point in Taishin FHC’s application for investment in Prudential Life Insurance and its renaming to Taishin Life Insurance. Taishin FHC is grateful for the FSC’s assistance in supporting its development. Welch Lin also praised the solid foundation established by Taishin Life Insurance in its 30 years of development in Taiwan’s insurance market. It has been recognized as a model life insurance company ten times and is a high-quality insurance company trusted by insurance customers and recognized by the competent authority for its great performance. Taishin FHC will continue to invest resources and help Taishin Life Insurance enhance product R&D and increase investment performance to maximize the overall business operations of Taishin FHC and create a comprehensive insurance company.

Kang Tsai stated that “Brand-New Taishin Life Insurance at Your Service” will be adopted as the Company’s brand-new motto. After renaming the Company as Taishin Life Insurance, we shall start anew to satisfy all customer needs. Taishin Life Insurance is a brand-new life insurance company and has been recognized by FSC as the Model Company ten times. We shall continue to use our heritage to provide insurance coverage functions and use the support of life insurance consultants and bank insurance channels to develop a diverse and comprehensive range of products and services and create happiness for our customers. After joining Taishin FHC, the Company has fully experienced the endless stream of warmth and support from the Group. With a perfect combination of Taishin Bank’s insurance channels, we have created unprecedented performance in sales of insurance policies by the Bank.

Welch Lin emphasized that after the subsidiary Taishin Life Insurance joined Taishin FHC, the Group shall actively integrate its business resources, increase assets performance, and maximize overall business performance. We shall also continue to search for suitable opportunities for mergers and acquisitions as well as business expansion. The Company shall continue to expand overseas operations to satisfy the needs of domestic and international customers, and adopt more active and diverse sustainability strategies and actions to ensure steadfast and stable business sustainability.
