Taishin FHC clinching the Best Companies To Work For In Asia for 3 straight years
Organized by the internationally acclaimed HR magazine HR ASIA Magazine, the 2020 Best Companies To Work For In Asia is one of the most authoritative HR management-related awards in Asia. The list of award recipients was announced on October 8 this month, and Taishin FHC clinched the special honor 3 years in a row thanks to its ongoing commitments in human resources development. The award demonstrates that Taishin FHC’s endeavors in materializing an excellent workplace and fostering employee engagement have garnered international recognition.
Taishin FHC Human Resources Division Senior Vice President Chang Nan-Hsing commented that Taishin FHC has always valued the creation of a workplace where the Company and the employees can thrive together. We also perceive the importance of employee feedback, hence the Company regularly conducts employee feedback surveys by visiting all levels of company staff to understand their opinions on various management measures. The objective is to ascertain the key elements to talent recruitment and retention, as well as to swiftly formulate tangible action plans. In particular, talent cultivation is an ongoing effort at Taishin FHC, where our employees across different departments both domestic and abroad are encouraged to partake in the learning plan in response to the trend of internationalization and digitization. Additionally, the HR development platform is designed by integrating external resources to let our employees complete their training on smartphones or computers, thereby reinforcing the diverse, independent training system. In regards to employee welfare promotion, the Company takes the annual market remuneration survey into account and refers to high-performance financial institutions both domestic and abroad to provide a fair and competitive remuneration system. Furthermore, we voluntarily provide our employees with 60 days paid maternity leave and 6 days paid paternity leave, superior to that of the minimum legal requirement. This not only makes Taishin’s remuneration more competitive, but also ensures more comprehensive benefits. Also, Taishin FHC values our employees’ work-life balance, hence we have devised numerous benefits and family activities to accompany them through important stages of their lives.
Taishin FHC has repeatedly received various HR-related awards in Taiwan. In recognition of our long-term commitment to the employee career development and training program, as well as efforts in expanding our employees’ diverse, professional learning, pushing the envelope of the future, and experiencing new technology, Taishin was awarded the Taiwan Academy of Corporate Sustainability’s Talent Development Award. In addition, Taishin also received its 3rd Best Practice Award from the Taipei City Government for providing a friendly internship environment and guidance measures to promote internship experiences, in turn facilitating youth career development. By rigorously assessing our employees’ health needs and conducting various health-promotion activities, Taishin received the CHR Health Corporate Citizen award from Common Health for a Better Life Magazine.
Taishin FHC strives to help each employee grow with the Company through multiple communication channels, learning resources, and welfare systems. Chang Nan-Hsing stresses that winning multiple domestic and international HR-related awards this year (2020) is the best reward for Taishin, and we aspire to attract more remarkable talents to join the Taishin FHC team. Together, we will strive for excellence, and we will uphold the core values of integrity, commitment, innovation, and collaboration to fulfill our corporate social responsibilities, thereby becoming the financial institution offering the best services and a smart partner for all our customers and employees.
